Julia and Mommy

Hi we're in Lucca. It is a small medieval town in Tuscany. It is so so so so hot, and we wish we had a pool. We eat lots of Gelato with our cousins, trying new flavors every time -- except Julia, who gets Fior di Latte, which is like pure white vanilla, every single time!!! She knows what she likes!!

We are in the tourist office, paying big bucks to use the internet. Lucca is no NYC!! But it is beautiful.

Jacob and Dad are riding a tandem bike around the city walls, which have been turned into a park. Jacob has fallen in love with the tandem bikes.

We are here for a week. We will see the leaning tower of Pisa, and we'll go to the beach on the Mediterranean sea. Puccini comes from this town, so there are concerts too--we see the posters everywhere!!

Julia: I ask my Mom every single day--hey Mom, can I get this souvenir? and she always says No! Mom: Well, not always. Julia: But, I do get Gelato about 3 times a day, and lots of pizza.
